Blog: The surprising truth about moss walls

 Are moss walls really cuddly?

Moss walls: Are they as cuddly as they are said to be?

Reindeer moss walls is indeed very soft and fluffy by nature.

However, moss grows in nature and usually in an area where there are many pine trees.

The needles fall on the moss.

If the moss is harvested by hand, the pine needles are also harvested.

These pine needles are not removed from the moss.

And so they remain there.

We, I and our team can tell you that those pine needles can sometimes sting nasty.

So bad that sometimes you almost wet your pants from fear.😅

Now we are kind enough to run our hands over the moss creations.

To feel where the nasty pine needles are and remove them as much as possible for you.

Yet the needles and the moss also provide support.

So needles always remain in the moss.

So they can sometimes sting unpleasantly.

And the most important thing!

And our hands also contain acids. And those acids can damage the moss.

And this does not improve the quality and shelf life.

So NO, a moss wall is not a cuddly wall. So stay away from it as much as possible.

If you really want to feel it, do so with the back of your hand.

Do you have a mosswall creation hanging at your home or at your company?

Then ask people to just look at it and enjoy it and preferably not to touch it.

Enjoy the day and greetings Anja 💚

Ooh yes I am dyslexic, but that doesn't stop me from writing.
